ABOUT

Donisi in Greek means vibration. The inspiration of the design was initiated from the central natural wood knot that represents a drop falling on a smooth surface, creating an impact and subsequent vibrations. This sculpture originates from a rough piece of Chestnut wood which was sliced, carved and reassembled respecting its initial grain. An adjustable intensity led strip placed inside to illuminate the effect of the vibration.
