Deriving from the Greek word almond referring to the shape of the amygdala, which is found at the core of the brain. Responsible for some basic functions such as memory processing, decision-making and emotional responses. The main three-piece structure is composed out of Chestnut wood with a vertical strip of led light illuminating the almond shaped oak sculpture which is supported by a fine solid cylinder of brass.
